THE DIRTY HEADS’ forthcoming CABIN BY THE SEA album, was released June 19 on the Five Seven Music label. It’s the follow-up to 2008’s ANY PORT IN THE STORM debut, which featured one of the decade’s biggest rock singles, “Lay Me Down” (which has been certified Gold and spent 11 weeks at #1 on the Billboard “Alternative Songs” chart, a record for an independent release and more than any single that year by anyone, including The Black Keys, Kings of Leon and 30 Seconds to Mars). The Southern California SoCal rock/reggae/hip-hop band was called one of Rolling Stone’s “Best New Bands of 2010.”
